
Hi there. Since taking up hiking in August 2017 when I was going through depression, I’ve been out exploring Scotland’s mountains almost every weekend since, sometimes with my westie, Dex.
Walking in the hills has improved my mental health and it’s something which has allowed me to explore the beauty of Scotland, to get fitter and to meet new friends.
Below are a number of videos and articles I have featured in during that time to either talk about how Munro bagging helped me when going through depression or about my love for exploring the mountains more generally. I have also taken part in mountain-related charity challenges in 2020, for Down’s Syndrome Scotland and SAMH, which are also featured below.
